Last year at the Tokyo Motor Show Yamaha unveiled their new concept scooter, the Yamaha C3+. Described by some as looking like a marriage between a Vespa and an iPod, the Yamaha C3+ is a combination of sleek design and a convenient minimum electric scooter. Yamaha has borrowed a few of the design concepts from their popular Yamaha C3 model but most would find it hard to find many similarities between the Yamaha C3 and the Yamaha C3+.

 A new type of marketing campaign has hit the roads in Montreal. Trako Media uses a fleet of Yamaha C3 scooters to promote businesses in their mobile advertising campaigns. The scooter pulls an attractive trailer with large 60" x 60" (150cm x 150cm) posters on top. There's no way you can miss something like this. The Yamaha C3 alone usually turns heads but when a massive advertisement is being pulled down the street by such a cool scooter, people notice. |
